The princely family and I wish to express our deepest sympathies in response to the terrible shooting in Oslo.
This attack on queer people is an assault on innocent people, as well as on the open and free societies that are so unique in this world.
But the rainbow community is far-reaching and resilient, with members ranging from LGBTQ+ as well as families, friends and allies. Together we do what we have always been forced to do – we come together and we stick together. And together we stand strong knowing that the rainbow is a light phenomenon, the darkness shall not prevail!
Our thoughts are with those who lost their lives, with those who were injured, with the families of those affected and with the whole Norwegian people.
