At the same time, and especially for the purpose, Prince Freï creates the exalted rank Earl-of-the-Jest and Countess-of-the-Jest. These titles are reserved for the prime members of the Jesters’ Guild and they shall have the same dignity as earl and countess of Lorenzburg. A special heraldic crown has been created as a sign of the new title.
